Adriana's ristorante italiano – Hamilton’s first ever Italian cuisine restaurant – was started in mid-1989 by ADRIANA, a newly arrived Italian immigrant lass from Rome. Over the next 32 years, Adriana's ristorante italiano acquired an enviable reputation for serving consistently fine Italian menus, wines, and beers. Since March 1999, and over the ensuing 22 years, new owners – Anna & John – have personally managed its continued successful growth and have succeeded in establishing a unique, intimate ambience, coupled with levels of personalised service, that is unrivalled in Hamilton’s fiercely competitive hospitality market. Adriana’s ristorante italiano, even under Covid-era conditions, continues to attract, and satisfy discerning local, regional, and national diners, ensuring that it remains one of Hamilton's most popular evening dining venues.
